Take Courage

The time is now

Each approach to this platform brings a thrill of anxiety. All the options, the digital vs analog world, the exposure. I think that’s why I’ve been challenged to ‘just do it.’ My daughter-in-law encouraged me to do a podcast or write a blog. I don’t take that lightly. Imagine this vote of confidence from a daughter-in-law! The only experience I have to share is my own. If you can learn from my mistakes or come to know that you are not the only one, I am happy for that. Most of all I am writing for me.

What holds me back? The first draft, the introduction and three main ideas, the editing into the final product. Most of all the value of my words and ideas. Add to that the fear of the digital. I didn’t want to log out because I wasn’t sure how I would log in. It’s irrational but effective as an obstacle. It has only been in this phase of my life that I learned I empathize with Abby from NCIS: change makes me itch. Considering my background, which I will discuss along the way, this came as quite a surprise.

Who knew? Thanks for reading my ramblings. I’ll be back. We can itch together.
